Bakery FAQs

Where can I find your products?

As a registered Cottage Foods business, we sell out of our home.

Look for us at the Hopkins Farmers Market, Albertville Farmers Market, and Rockford Farmers Market during the 2022 summer on select dates. We also post other events on our social media pages and send news on events out to our pastry fan email list!

When we are open for order pick-up at our Rockford location, our menu selection will be posted on our website and social media for advanced ordering.

You can also call or email us to place a special order for future events.

How do I place an order?

When the bakery is open, select menu items are available for order that week. Typically, orders are due by 8pm on Wednesday for scheduled Friday and Saturday pick-ups.

TO ORDER: Simply visit our Bake Shop Store, add the available item(s) to your quote, and review your quote request by clicking the “Review the list” link or clicking on the CART at the top right corner of the website menu. Fill out the required information and click the “Send Your Request” button.

ORDER CONFIRMATION: You will receive a message that your request was successfully sent. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response. We will email you an invoice. Your paid invoice is the final step to confirming your order.

Items listed as OUT OF STOCK are not on the current menu, but you can request a special order. If you know of a special order you’d like to place for a future date, call us at 612-361-1423 or email info@sabbaticalvibrations.com and we’ll do our best to make your sweet dreams come true.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

Weekly Menu Orders: Typically, orders are due by 8pm Wednesday for Friday or Saturday pick-up.

Special Orders: We ask that you order 2 weeks in advance of your pick-up. This will ensure we can secure ingredients and pastry time in our schedule. (Did you know croissant dough takes 3 days to make?! )

Where do I pick up my pre-ordered items?

Once your order is confirmed, we will send you the full details for your pick up at our Rockford location. Occasionally, we offer pick-ups in Hopkins or at other market locations around the Twin Cities.

Do you make other bakery items not listed in your products?

Our passion is pastries and specialty quick breads. However, please note that as a Cottage Food Producer, we are limited from producing some items, per state regulations. We strive to accommodate your needs, and will recommend alternatives in the case we cannot produce what you request.

Are any of your products gluten-free?

At this time, we cannot offer gluten free or sensitive products. Due to the nature of our laminated pastries, we cannot assure against cross-contamination. It’s pretty much a flour party in the kitchen when making our dough!

Are you planning to have a storefront bakery someday?

For now, we love spending time with you at local farmer’s markets, as well as the flexibility home baking provides. In the future, we hope to grow and explore other business location options.

Are you licensed to sell in stores?

We are operating with a Cottage Food Registration, which does not allow manufacturing for re-sale. The Cottage Food Law allows for individuals to make and sell certain non-potentially hazardous food and canned goods in Minnesota without a license.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. All bakery orders must be paid in advance.

The only exception is when we sell bakery items at markets. Market sales are first come, first serve. We accept cash or cards.

What is your refund policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your order, please contact us at 612-361-1423 or info@sabbaticalvibrations.com. We will work with you to resolve the situation.

In the event you have paid for an order and need to cancel in advance, contact us as soon as possible.

–Orders canceled 48-72 hours prior to pick-up will be eligible for a partial refund (50% of the total order). This helps us cover the cost of ingredients and labor.

–Orders canceled less than 48 hours prior to pick-up are not guaranteed a refund. Contact us for options.

–Orders which are paid and not picked up at the agreed upon time will be contacted, and the order may be forfeit if another pick-up option is not available. We will accommodate, when possible.
